Dead Space 2 Review

Dead Space 2, the survival horror developed by Visceral Games and published by Electronic Arts, was one of the most highly anticipated games of the last twelve months. After its release it sky-rocketed in top positions in software charts across the globe and in the UK alone it stood anchored in pole position for two consecutive weeks with competitors such as Call of Duty: Black Ops and Little Big Planet 2 at its heels. And all this not without merit as the game takes the horror genre one step further. A little step, a tiny one even, but nevertheless taken in the right direction.

Dead Space 2 Released

The sequel of the publicly acclaimed physiological thriller Dead Space, developed by Visceral Games, an EA studio, is now available in retail stores in the US and will be available in Europe starting with the 28th of January on PS3, XBOX360 and PC. The Dead Space 2 Limited Edition for PlayStation 3 will include Dead Space Extraction, the prequel to the entire Dead Space saga, now featuring support for the PlayStation®Move motion controller. Pandorum – Review

Pandorum falls in the large gap of mediocrity most movies nowadays do, leaving you with mixed feelings and with the impression that you haven’t completely wasted your time watching it, but you can’t put your finger on any of its features and call them brilliant. It’s common and easily forgotten.

The plot is simple, as the rest of the movie: in the future, the human race, facing extinction, sends into space towards a recently discovered planet that resembles Earth, a large colonization space ship. Due to malfunctions to the cryogenic sleep systems, a large part of the human cargo suffers mutations and turns into a cannibalistic life form with superhuman strength and enhanced predator abilities.
