Dead Space 2 Review

Posted by Seth Lex on

Dead Space 2, the survival horror developed by Visceral Games and published by Electronic Arts, was one of the most highly anticipated games of the last twelve months. And all this not without merit as the game takes the horror genre one step further. A little step, a tiny one even, but nevertheless taken in the right direction.

The action in Dead Space 2 takes place three years after the first episode which focused on the Ishimura tragedy, … More

Two Worlds 2 Review

Posted by Dante on

Two Worlds 2 or 2W2 is an RPG (Role-playing game), sequel to Two Worlds, developed by Reality Pump and published by TopWare Interactive. The game was released on November 9, 2010 in Europe, January 25, 2011 in North-America and on February 25, 2011  in the UK for Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. Hackers Lose Access To PSN

Posted by Seth Lex on

It is widely known that hackers have been able to access the PlayStation Network on their modified consoles by using a custom DNS. This workaround blocked notifications received by Sony servers regarding the console’s firmware version and thus allowed access to these clients onto the network even if their firmware was not up to date. After the release of the revised PS3 firmware 3.56, Sony has patched the proxy and PSN bypass methods. With the DNS bypass useless, many users with modified consoles are now denied access to the PlayStation Network. It appears however that those who were logged in at the time of the patch and haven’t signed out since are still able to benefit from PSN features. That is at least until Sony finds a way to kick them off the grid. … More

Posted by Seth Lex on

Battlestar Galactica Online, a browser based Free-to-Play Sci-Fi MMORPG developed by Bigpoint, has just recently surfaced to the level of public awareness with the game going from closed beta to its open beta stage. With the Unity engine at its core, this space combat simulator sets new standards for browser games, as it looks, sounds and behaves countless times better than any other video game released for this media.

At the start of the game any new player will have to choose from the two available and rival factions: the Cylons and the Humans. There isn’t much information to help with this decision and you might wonder what the two factions stand for and what your role might be if you pick one or the other, especially if the BGO lore is not something you are up to date with.
